Drove around a bit trying to find a place to park in MB. Ended up near my old office. It was really fun, but also got really crowded.

While I was getting packed up, I saw a couple of girls spend 10 minutes trying to parallel park their little subcompact.

Day off for both of us. Went and did chores in the AM and then surfed around lunch time.

Went to the Spa at the Catty for pedicures and hot tub. We went and enjoyed a little happy hour too. On the way home, on the final stretch, my chain popped off and I scrapped the top of a few toes on my left foot.

Picked up new wheels and tires for fit today. Shelby got a bath and did a bunch of baby related chores. Steve's wedding is tonight and it is really hot.

Ok, so the surf was out of control crowded. Saw at least two collisions. I got in the bare minimum fix and go the hell out of there.

Wasn't really 3-4 unless the tide was swallowing it up. Kind of disappointed coming out over the hill, under the bridge, near the tracks and seeing it. Better than 1-2 though. A quick session and back to work.

Packed with all the good peaks overloaded. Found an uncrowded, but inconsistent place neat the point and waited patiently. I got a few really fun ones and the size was good, but mushy Turmo. Still, not bad for August.

Bit of a crowd, but some nice lines were rolling in as I walked down the hill to Turmo. I headed out north, towards Old Man's. Loooooong waits between the good sets and the tide was rising fast. Took a few inside, and got a massive ball of seaweed on the leash. Had a great last ride.

Went to Sea World to celebrate Alison's birthday. The Shamu show was pretty cool, but I couldn't stop feeling bad for those guys in those small pools.

Met Jen's new pup, Sasha, today. Cute dog that's part lab. She'll love the water. Surfer dog?

It got pretty windy last night. At one point, a picture got knocked off of the computer desk. Luckily, the glass did not break. It was the picture of my mom with her shoe coming off. Anyway, it's still windy now and there has been some "rain" over the last 24 hours.

Went out at Law while Alison did yoga. It was a bit stormy, but not too bad. Actually some fun rides would jack up.

There was a lot of seaweed on the sand close to the water's edge. Pretty crowded, but I guess school isn't in session for everyone yet. It got a little more corwded when the set up the surf zone. Every once in a while, an outside set would come in. Something is supposed to be coming in though...

Got a rack put on the Fit today, which will help with the problem I had because I used to have to put the board down to get my key to get into the car. I also got a lockbox big enough to put the key and key fob in.

Headed out just north of the estuary. Two fishermen were right at the mouth. A couple of older guys were taking a long time getting ready to boggie board. I banged out a surfer's dozen and went to work.
