Nice sets rolling in and there was a peak to the north with just a few kayaks. There was a bit of a wait between sets, but not too bad. I had one where I broke the backend out and almost recovered. That would have been sweet. Good quality stuff. Odd for almost July.

Checked a few spots and there was actually some size coming through. Pump house looked the best and it turned out to be fun, but surprisingly crowded for that time of day. Again, I was moving my hand about and getting some great turns in. Old man on a yellow longboard made a point of coming over and asking me if I was getting anything on "that little thing".

Road new electric Electra to work today. Took about 45 minutes each way. I did have a connection problem at first that caused a delay.

Alison made a great observation last night as we were looking at photos. She told me I had scarecrow arms. Sure enough, I do not move my arms as I surf. So today I made an effort and what a difference it made. I was able to make sharper turns and keep my momentum. Really fun session and would have stayed out longer, but the water was really cold.

Quick session, not much out there. A few guys in the parking lot were talking of going to San O, probably actually getting some surf up there.

The tide was really low and I could see what looked like an old pipe cutting diagonally from the Pump House towards the Point.

Tide was really low, you could see rocks in front of the bathrooms that you normally can't see, but walk on in a normal low. I drove around a bit, but nothing was looking too good. Not a lot of juice at turmo today, but it wasn't closing out either. First time on the spacecake in a long time.
