Whoa, super windy. I was the only one out... for a reason. Holding onto the board walking out was a challenge. I had to hold the hull parallel to the ground at just the right angle to control it and not take off like a plane. There were one or two sneaker sets that I was too inside on. Lost the board once. Hit myself in the nose pretty good trying to go over a wave (it crested at just the right time to pop me in the face). Lefts were impossible. It was a constant paddle north to stay in the same spot. Ok, so after all that I only got one ride.

Alison's paternal grandmother passed away today.
