Comments:
Took Alison with me to move into new office today. At first the surf monkey was lost and then, when I found him, he was broken off at the knees. Not to impressed with the new area... anyway, we ended up going to TP on the way home. The beach was packed, but they didn't have a swim zone setup! Surf was not too good because the backwash was swallowing up waves, but some were still doable. Fun drops to mushed out hands in trying to get another inch on the waves. When I got out, Alison was fast asleep in her chair.

Comments:
Considering some past surf reports, I went right to MB. Not as clean as it needed to be, but I did get some really fun rides. drifted a bit south and was near a guy try to body surf at one point. I did connect a lot of sections for some nice rides.

Comments:
Oh what a day, a little more size and consistency and this could have been a three star day. I had at least three really looooooong rights. Paddled so much, my shoulders got tired. Saw skip out there with a "girl" that was wooping it up so much everyone was watching them.

Comments:
The big swell hadn't arrived while I was out there, although I did look better to the north. I got a ride at Turmo, paddled over towards the point and sat inside. After a while I got a slew of fun but short rides. Then I went over the the Pump House and got a few ho hum rides while the ponytailed kiteboarders were doing their circles.

Small stuff today. It really was 1' and required a long board. Got a few rides, talked to a sponger about the upcoming swell and went to work.

Comments:
Really strong offshore winds due to Santa Anna's. You had to close your eyes and just trust you were getting into the wave. Went with Alison. We haven't been here in a while. Saw dolphins and the Louis at the south entrance stated that he had seen a lot of wale activity.

Comments:
Point was going off, I've got to check their first next time. Fun rights coming through, but longboarders were able to make the flat sections and get right into my peak. Almost dropped in on a guy and I apologized as soon as I could find him... Might head out a lunch. Had a bunch of fun controlled wave exits, a kick out to avoid a closeout and one where I went to lay back and got the underside of the board with fins in the back... no cuts, but maybe a bruise.

When I got out, there was a guy standing in the parking lot staring at the point like a little kid looking at an ice cream truck. He stood there the entire time it took me to change and put my gear away.

Comments:
Great day! Nice size, a bit mush, but every wave was makeable. Crowd was there, but never had to fight for a wave. Started to get a little more hallow and fast, but then the wind took over.
