Not much going on at first, mostly closeouts. No one else really out. No good peaks to be had. Towards the end I did get some good rides, but had to get out before I killed myself.

Day of Gala, MB I think. Later, I went to Costco and got a cheapo replacement watch. Let's see how long this one lasts. It's hard to surf when I'm worrying about what time it is.

Got up really early with the intent to meet up with Frank, but the tide was -1! So I slept in.
Not many rides as it was fast and closing out. At least it was too fast for me. Got a few screamers and got out before any serious damage.

Tons of dolphins out playing in the waves this mother's day.

I always nick my right hand when I surf this board. Those LokBox fins never sit exactly flush. Rather that try to sand it down some more, I applied some caulk to the gap.

Drove around and not much was breaking due to a combo of high tide and weak swell. End up south of work and no one else was out. Several short rides.

Lots of closeouts today. Plus, the waves where doubling up, I guess because of the tide. Got one good right and several ok lefts. There was a young kid out there ripping it up. Left my key on the bumper. D'oh! I got out as soon as I realized... well after one more good wave
