Lots of closeouts today. Plus, the waves where doubling up, I guess because of the tide. Got one good right and several ok lefts. There was a young kid out there ripping it up. Left my key on the bumper. D'oh! I got out as soon as I realized... well after one more good wave

Lots of closeouts, I would skip this spot next time. Trouble was that Turmo wasn't breaking... so not sure where else to go.

Again, bigger than predicted. Saw some head high waves near the pier. I rode from Calumet park to Reed St. Calumet was breaking but with the tide filling in I thought it would be dying off. Reed street to the pier was big and closing out. I ended up at Law and too a few shoulders that I could find.
There were some kids body boarding on the inside. If it was summertime, I would have said something to them. And considering the size and impact they were looking for trouble in the impact zone. But, man, they were having a great time.
