Met Alison and some of her CO friends out after researching cars. Very mushy waves with a hightide still filling in. Got a few fun rides though and it always helps when there are new surfers out. Makes you look better.

Bran-d and Carl had a baby girl today and named her Hope.

Comments:
Went down to the beach with Alison. Surfed a bit, read a bit and surfed again. Trunks and rash guard made for short session. Water is still unseasonably cold. So with the booze on the beach, the scene was very mellow - at least at this area. It did look more packed past the pier.

We grabbed some sandwiches from Henry's and went to beach. Good stuff. Then I went and surfed for a bit. Some fun sets rolled through every 10 minutes or so.

Tons of fun, not too crowded. Skipped happy hour at the Catty for this one and it was worth it. Pits were a bit raw earlier, but better now. Got a bunch of outside with several long rides with nice stand up corners.

A lot more fun than I thought it would be. Saw Alex out there and we talked for a bit. Once he left, it picked up. I was sitting out pretty far and picking up nice outside sets. Not as crowded as I would have thought and hardly anyone knew what they were doing.

Comments:
Eh, almost didn't want to ruin the day with a less than stellar session, but I had to take advantage of the day off (Veteran's Day). Ended up getting a few outside waves, which was a surprise. Stayed out way past sunset. I could see well due to the nice orange clouds on the horizon and the almost full moon. There was a couple out on longboards. Typical boyfriend/drill instructor type teacher. She wanted to stay out, but he was hounding her to come in.
