Tons of fun, not too crowded. Skipped happy hour at the Catty for this one and it was worth it. Pits were a bit raw earlier, but better now. Got a bunch of outside with several long rides with nice stand up corners.

A lot more fun than I thought it would be. Saw Alex out there and we talked for a bit. Once he left, it picked up. I was sitting out pretty far and picking up nice outside sets. Not as crowded as I would have thought and hardly anyone knew what they were doing.

Got a comment on a guy about my farmer jon. They guy said it reminded him of the 70's. He was wearing a hood.

Got some fun one. The board felft so light and responsive. Waves were perfect for a fish today and I was able to pull off a lot of moves.

One of those days where you could see the lines coming in. This angle reall does Turmo well. Lots of long rides and good shape. I was able to grab a peak to myself. No sun, but some fog - which stuck around all day.

I got a right that was so long, my legs got tired. Some really fun stuff was breaking pretty far out. Actually ended up on the rock in the middle of Turmo at one point, but no damage. Worked my way to Old Man's and picked up the scraps that were reforming. Super fun, but I wish I had my 2x eagle... Burritod up and resting for second session.

First time I have surfed here. It was really fun shape, but crowded with a mixture of kooks and assholes. There were some bigger sets rolling through every 30 minutes or so. Meet up with Adam. There were some steep drops that I didn't think I would make, but I somehow did. I probably would have been more comfortable on the wedding board or the bonzer, but I was able to get some great rides on the ol' fish. Really workable faces...

Comments:
Fun summer/longboard kind of waves. Got some good nose time in and was able to work the wave for some fun little rides.

Also saw a shooting star around 8 PM last night. Which was odd because I didn't think the sky was clear enough. I haven't seen one in years and I don't know if I have ever seen one in San Diego proper.
