This time on the way to surf there was a group of young kids on the beach. A couple came over to ask me where I got my board. Apparently they just got into town from Brazil. They were disappointed that they would have to wait until 9 for a shop to open.

There were only a few good waves today. Wind and direction weren't cooperating.

Comments:
Almost a two star day, but just not consistent enough. Towards the end of the set it picked up and I got some fun rides. Need to work on getting out of the closeouts more gracefully. Did full on pearl once... first time in a long time. Grabbed a nice long right at the end that shortened my walk. Ended up getting out where some sort of poodle pup was having fun trying to drink the water.

Comments:
Not as good as last night. Receding tide seems to be better here. The Point was going off. Tons of bugs bouncing off of my face as I walked over the piles of sea weed to get in. A lot of sand has washed over and covered up the piles. The smell was really strong and offensive when I walked off.
