High tide was swamping out the good ones in the beginning. I ended up sitting too far outside at first, but then things got good. I had one of those rides that went so well and last so long that I was shaking at the end. Would have been three stars with another ride like that.

Comments:
Not many people out because it rained last night. Ended up heading out right in front and missed several waves. The tide was really pretty high and although they looked good and steep. I had to go inside more than I wanted in order to pick anything up, but when I did it was great. really got some great rides and worked the face - wish I had a camera on me to see what it really looked like.

Got a comment about the board from a Realtor and his client. Also had a guy paddle over in a red long board and comment on my board.

What a fun day. It was breaking really far out. The last one, I rode in as far as possible. I really wish someone was taking pictures of me today... Got a little choppy on my last ride.

Comments:
Got up early and logged the Eagle down to Turmo. Not as big or consistent as yesterday... at least not with the tide the way it was. Maybe it will be better later on. Still fun though and I was able to get some great rides. I had one wave where I had to kick out, and I was worried that I might damage the board. It is easy enough to hop of the face if you can figure out when it's going to closeout. Did pearl a couple of times, but getting it dialed in. Need to fix/replace the leash lanyard and probably get a new leash. I would also like to get a canvas bag for it and maybe some different fins.

Current was strong, pushing north. I went in at the pump house and ended up right in front of the bathrooms by the time I got out. Size wasn't as big as I was expecting, but it was still fun with some good drops. I was the only one out for a while and got some really fun rides. They were a bit too mushy to connect really long rides though. I did sneak a couple of long ones in. Also saw a big full rainbow. Merry Christmas!

Comments:
It was coldest so far this season. I was the only one out. Getting out was a bit more of a challenge than the last few days. It was a bit stormy, but I got a few long rides on some head high stuff. It wasn't too fast and a bit mushy. It made me wish I didn't get up late.

Nixon watch broken again. Today it was beeping uncontrollably and the display just showed some random pattern. Ripcurl backup is back on duty.
